Unique residences for all levels of care.
For people with memory loss, the journey often involves many stages and care needs along the way. We provide individualized care, personal assistance and advanced health services in several intimate settings. Our three “houses” offer an attractive alternative to traditional care for people living with Alzheimer’s and related dementias. Professional caregivers are available 24-hours a day.
At Ecumen, we are working to transform America’s culture of care for people living with Alzheimer’s and related dementias. The Ecumen Awakenings program is a vital part of Memory Care at Parmly. Ecumen’s pioneering approach often leads to reduction or elimination of antipsychotic medications, which carry significant health risks for older adults. This empowering circle of care puts your loved one at the very center, focusing on abilities — not disabilities — while honoring each person’s individuality.
What we offer:
- Housing choices
- Specialized programs
- Secured indoor/outdoor access
- Trained, professional staff
- Wander alarm system
Parmly has developed a supportive array of housing options and services for individuals with memory loss — and for their loved ones, too. We customize our services to each individual’s cognitive abilities and memory challenges. Our specially designed housing amenities are named in honor of prominent women in the history of Ecumen Parmly LifePointes.
Here is the ideal residential setting for individuals with mild to moderate memory loss who can complete activities of daily living with the assistance of a caregiver. The innovative design supports daily activities in personal care suites — including a private bath — surrounded by beautifully appointed common spaces within a home-like environment. Margaret’s House also offers a Day Club for people affected by memory loss who live at home or in a caregiver’s home. Services are designed to help individuals maintain their highest level of physical, emotional, social and psychological well-being.
This residence serves residents with advanced memory loss who require additional assistance. We provide a welcoming environment for people who don’t need skilled nursing care, yet do require one-on-one assistance with some activities of daily living. A nostalgic design features destination points and programs that encourage participation in activities throughout the day.
